Experience
Alita is a clinical psychologist who has a genuine interest and passion for working with children, individuals and families in an evidence based and holistic manner in order to improve long term outcomes. Alita has completed a Master of Clinical Psychology (awarded with Distinction) and a Bachelor of Psychology (awarded with First Class Honours).
Alita has experience working in private clinic, hospital outpatient and education settings to support individuals to engage and thrive in all aspects of their lives. She has worked extensively with clients who have experienced childhood trauma and in the management of suicidal ideation and self harm. Alita has also facilitated various child and adolescent groups focussed on emotion regulation, resilience and social understanding, and she has conducted cognitive and learning assessments including those required for verification or to access disability supports.

Alita embodies an empathic, collaborative and client-centred approach and is passionate about nurturing and developing client strengths and self efficacy. She finds her role as a clinical psychologist to be immensely rewarding and is highly invested in making a genuine and lasting difference in the lives of individuals and families.
Alita works at our Mount Gravatt East clinic on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
