We accept NDIS plan managed and self-managed clients. Please note we are not NDIS registered and cannot accept NDIS agency clients.

Fees and Rebates

At Brighter Futures we offer competitive rates on our assessment and treatment sessions. Please contact us to obtain further information regarding our fees. 

Payments 

Payments are required at the end of each session and can be made by cash, EFTPOS, HICAPS, or Credit Card. For off-site appointments such as school visits, telehealth (Zoom videoconferencing) sessions payments are made via credit card details securely stored on file. 

Please Note: Third party payments will attract 10% GST. Families with NDIS funding must be plan managed or self-managed and must provide a copy of their NDIS plan and the details of their plan provider prior to the initial consultation.


Appointment policy

If, for some reason you need to cancel or postpone the appointment, please provide at least 48 hours notice, otherwise you will be charged the cost for the session. 


Rebates

You may be able to claim a partial rebate on the cost of your session through one of the following options depending on the clinician you are seeing: 

  • The Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative – obtain a Better Access Care Plan to arrange a rebate on up to 10 individual visits and 10 group visits per calendar year. For more information on this initiative visit www.psychology.org.au/medicare/fact_sheet/

  • Helping Children with Autism Initiative Medicare Items - visit www.health.gov.au/internet/main/publishing.nsf/Content/autism-children

  • Private Health Insurance - check with your private health fund to determine whether you will be able to claim a rebate on your visits

  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) - families who are self-managed are able to claim back the cost of their sessions with NDIS. Families who are plan managed can use their funds to pay for most of the session according the the NDIS scheduled rate and pay the gap on the day of their session.
